This is Jussi, and I have some exciting announcements to share with you.
First Announcement: Mission Success - Our Largest Convoy Yet
I’m delighted to report that our latest trip to Ukraine was a tremendous success. This marks our 6th convoy, and it was the biggest one yet!
Thanks to the incredible generosity of High Yield Landlord members, we raised $124,500 for this mission. These funds enabled us to purchase 6 additional vehicles for Ukrainian soldiers defending their country against russia’s invasion.

Special Guests on This Convoy
On this trip, we were joined by three of our most generous High Yield Landlord members. They flew all the way from the United States to Tallinn, Estonia, and traveled with us to Kyiv, Ukraine, to personally deliver vehicles and supplies to various Ukrainian military units.

Second Announcement: New Trip to Latin America
We are preparing a new field trip to Latin America to look for new REIT investment opportunities.
Something unique about High Yield Landlord is that we don't cover just US REITs, but we also cover foreign markets.
There are over 30 countries with a REIT regime and the best opportunities are often abroad:
But real estate is a very local business and unless you have boots on the ground and actually talk to local people, it is hard to know what's really happening in a country.
That's why, each year, we organize field trips to foreign countries in an effort to uncover hidden gems for our International Portfolio.
As an example, last year, I traveled to Argentina to study IRSA (IRS) and it turned into a very rewarding investment, more than doubling our money in just 9 months.
Soon, I will return to Latin America. I will go to Brazil to be more specific as I want to dig deeper into Patria Investments (PAX), which is rapidly becoming one of our largest holdings. Just like IRSA, I think that it could earn us a 100-200% return in the coming years and I want to make sure that we aren't missing anything.

Moreover, the REIT market is rapidly growing in Brazil. Patria itself manages a lot of REITs and some of them are offering very high yields. Many of these REITs also benefit from the growing trend of nearshoring and could offer diversification benefits to our portfolio.
I will spend time getting familiar with the Brazilian market and we will see if this results in a new investment from us.
Please note that our main focus will remain on the US market. This is just extra research for those of you who want international exposure so no need to worry if you aren't interested in our foreign REIT investments.
Third Announcement: Meet in the USA
Finally, after my trip to Brazil, I will spend a few months traveling the USA to tour assets, meet management teams and other real estate professionals.
I will be mostly in New York, Florida, Texas, California, Nevada, and Washington.
